Cyanotype is a "primitive" photographic development technique involving natural light (sunlight.)
By taking into account the two essential factors of this medium which are therefore light and time, the installation Se Faire Jour creates a relationship with the object that stimulates the development of images, In this case an industrial electric UV lamp whose original purpose is to destroy mosquitoes by attracting them.
While maintaining this primary function, the object-lamp diffuses its weak light continuously, which marks the process of appearance of cyanotype images in a much longer than normal time.
